Jeanine and Jim were our last wedding of the 2014 wedding season! Shooting this late in the year can be tricky because it gets dark before 5pm here in Pittsburgh! Nonetheless our beautiful city has some great spots for night shooting! Luckily it also has some covered areas because it rained pretty much the whole day for Jim and Jeanine. They had EXTRA good luck on their big day!I shot some portraits of the beautiful Jeanine prior to leaving her parents house for the church. I loved the window light and how gorgeous she looked in these photos!
Red and black were the perfect color combination for a winter wedding. The girls looked radiant! The gentlemen didn’t look to bad either! We headed to one of my favorite places in Pittsburgh to shoot, the Convention Center. Our original plan was to shoot bridal portraits outside of Consol Energy Center but since it was rainy we opted for the convention center. I really liked the different perspective of the city skyline!
Jeanine and Jim took a few minutes with me to shoot some portraits on the balcony of the Power Center. We tried some with off camera flash and some with ambient light. I like how different both are!Thank you so much Jeanine and Jim for having us as a part of your wedding day!
